In August 2018, VCAPS Study Manager has led the team to carry out a series of visits with the ultimate aims to investigate the suitability of 40 district hospitals to VCAPS 4 study in 4 provinces including Thanh Hoa, Hanoi, Ca Mau, and An Giang .

Under the support of Provincial Department of Health and provincial hospitals/ centres, the team has received warm welcome from all hospitals. We use this opportunity to present our studies with district partners, and discuss about collaboration mechanism for the study. In these visits, VCAPS team visited different departments within hospitals, talked with various health care workers to review available resources of hospitals to develop a plan for upcoming intervention.

The results of these visits will be used for randomization process of the study.
