University of Sydney will host the Sydney Vietnam Research Innovation Showcase on 13 December 2018 in Hanoi, to highlight successes in research and education between the University and its partners in Vietnam.

The symposium theme Improving lives through collaborative research and education aims to foster interdisciplinary research and education between the University and its Vietnam partners, with topics ranging from medical studies on maternal health literacy, cerebral palsy and radiology, to social studies on restaurant customer behaviour and society transformations.

Associate Professor Greg Fox from the University of Sydney and Vietnam Head from the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research said: “The Showcase will explore how the research we are doing can help improve the knowledge in the fields we are working in, through partnership between Vietnamese institutions and the University."
