The VCAPS 3 study will pilot the interventions that will be evaluated in the Randomized Controlled Trial. This involves an integrated public health strategy to manage chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and reduce smoking in three District Clinics in Vietnam.

The VCAPS team is now working intensively to prepare for VCAPS 3 kickoff at the selected sites. The protocol has been fully developed by PhD student of Woolcock Institute of Medical Research - Erick Huang under the support of Prog Guy Marks and Assoc.Prof. Greg Fox. We have piloted the procedure in Thach That district hospital and is now finalizing the tools and procedure. VCAPS 3 is planned to start at the end of 2018.
